About

Diamond Engineering Services LLC is located in Brentwood, California. Our company is now going on 16 years of service with about 43 years of industry experience from our owner, Daniel Belshaw.

We aim to deliver services on time and at a reasonable price without inflating contract costs with expensive engineering change proposals (ECPs) during the life of a contract, as requirements change and develop with technology.

Our Mission

Our mission is to redefine the corporate contracting experience in a way that reinforces patriotic contribution at reasonable prices, not the typical engineering change proposal.

Our Founder

Owner and CEO, Daniel Belshaw, graduated from San Jose State University in 1978 and later went on to get his master’s and doctorate degrees in the 1990s.

After graduating, he taught Mathematics at San Jose State University from January 1979 to May 1981 while working on his master’s.

Work Experience

In 1980 as a satellite operations engineer with Lockheed Missiles and Space Company (now Lockheed Martin), at what formally was the “Blue Cube” in Sunnyvale, California, where he handled unclassified and classified work for various programs.

Mr. Belshaw spent 27 years with Lockheed Martin, spending time concentrating on the Command and Control of Satellite assets within the Air Force Satellite Control Network (AFSCN).

He developed a Command and Control System centralized concept in 1996 that is still being used today at Schriever Air Force Base (AFB) in Colorado Springs, Colorado, supporting all the National Reconnaissance Office (NRO) Launch and orbit Operations Programs.

In 2003, Mr. Belshaw began consulting for Sandia National Laboratories (SNL) on a Mission to Command and Control Missile delivery systems and Missile assets. In 2007, Mr. Belshaw left Lockheed Martin and started Diamond Engineering Services, LLC to service SNL.
